This project aims to helping Taipei Medical University for their  improvement of recycling system. Based on the brief from the
client, Taipei Medical Universit, as time went by, going green is
not just the slogan in public space, especially in universities and
other public space. We started to brainstorming and figure out
the way to prompt the strategies to help them.

Ideation

In Taiwan, there are thousands tons usage of plastic. But unfortunately, it hadn’t align with consistency on the recycling system. Each area had their methods to have led all the stuff being recycled. We started to have more ideation on possible solutions. So, settling down the topic, “How we solve the problems on building up the recycle system?”

Stakeholders

At the beginning, we had observed who will make an influence on the recycling system. From students, cleaning company and recycling
company, there are different kinds of characters are involved into the
system. Students are the majority group who are frequently connecting
with the system once they had grabbed their breakfast, lunch and even dinner. For the cleaning company, they will dispatch the employees to
clean up and re-arrange the stuff rountinely. In the last part of the
system, the environment protection institute had  announced the
norm of how to classify the right way to have recyling.

Persona/Affinity Map

As going through all the stakeholders, we had interviewd 8 users who had involved into the system. After aseries of interviews, we created a
light persona set. Three core users were identified, each with competing goals and needs. We can point out their painpoints during the system.

1. They don’t being educated on how to recycling in the direct way.
2. They always throw all the staff together in the garbage without classification and recycling because of time wasting.
3. While the recycling environment is mess, they won’t doing recycling.
